Origin:
Bred by Franz Praskac (Austria, 1913).
Class:
Climber, Hybrid Wichurana, Large-Flowered Climber.  
Bloom:
Lilac, red shading.  Ages to slaty blue.  Strong, lily of the valley fragrance.  10 to 20 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: 13'1" to 19'8" (400 to 600cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Very vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
