Bred by Patrick Dickson (1926-2012) (United Kingdom, before 1959).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Dickson Nurseries Ltd. in 1962 as 'Paint Box'.
Introduced in Australia by T. G. Stewart in 1964 as 'Paint Box'.

Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Red and golden-yellow, ages to carmine-red .  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Medium to large, semi-double to double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.
