Notes:
The San Jose Heritage Rose Garden has tried to root this rose. So far, no luck, but if you want more information about it, you might try contacting them.

According to Marianne Ahrne, in the rec.gardens.roses newsgroup (under the Subject: Re: Mme. Vaucom?), reports that this rose is Norwegian and may be a found rose. Apparently, there are many found roses in Scandinavia and they are widely distributed throughout those countries.
According to Flora Linnea, this rose was found in Tröndelag in Norway.
