Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Edouard Mignot'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red, purple shading, dark red reverse.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright, well-branched.  Large, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
