Origin:
Bred by Alain Meilland (1940-....) (France, before 1995).
Introduced in France by Meilland International (after 1997) in 1997 as 'Blue Bell'.
Class:
Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Red, blue shading, cream reverse, silver(y) highlights.  None / no fragrance.  20 to 25 petals.  Average diameter 4.75".  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 20" to 28" (50 to 70cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

A new and distinct variety of Hybrid Tea rose plant is provided which forms
attractive blossoms that are smoked red on the inner surface and cream
with tones of silver on the outer surface. Such blossoms posses no
fragrance. The plant exhibits an erect growth habit, broad decorative dark
green and semi-glossy foliage, and good disease resistance. The new
variety is particularly well suited for producing cut flowers under
greenhouse growing conditions.
