Bloom:
Deep pink, ages to lighter . Moderate fragrance. Large, single to semi-double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Climbing. Medium, glossy, dark green, fragrant foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets. Height of 8' 2" to 20' (250 to 610 cm). Width of up to 8' (up to 245 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.
Notes:
Sets hips Amy Robsart (June 7, 1532 - September 8, 1560 Cumnor Palace, Oxfordshire), first wife of Robert Dudley (later Earl of Leicester). Her mysterious death was used by Sir Walter Scott for his novel "Kenilworth" (1821).
