Origin:
Bred by André Delbard-Chabert (1915-2012) (France, 1967).
Introduced in France by Delbard/Georges Delbard SA in 1967 as 'Obélisque'.
Class:
Climber, Large-Flowered Climber.  
Bloom:
Orange-pink.  Flowers coppery orange-pink.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters, globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing.  Glossy, bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower, garden or pillar.  Vigorous.  Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. .  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..  Prune lightly until this rose gets established (about two years), then prune it back by about a third..  Remove unproductive wood every third year or so.
