Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1966).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Dickson Nurseries Ltd. as 'Antique'.
Introduced in Australia by Treloar Roses in 1967 as 'Antike'.

Bloom:
Deep yellow, golden-yellow reverse, ages to dark red .  Fades from old gold to orange-red to darker red..  Medium to large, semi-double to double, in large clusters, rounded bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Height of 19' 8" to 26¼' (600 to 800 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Notes:
Modern Roses 10 says this is one of the parents of Golden Unicorn.
