Deep yellow. Mild, wild rose fragrance. 15 to 20 petals. Average diameter 2.25". Medium, semi-double to double, borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Ovoid, rounded buds.
Medium, semi-glossy foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height of 16" to 2' (40 to 60 cm).
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of compact floribunda rose plant which originated from a controlled crossing between an unnamed seedling and `POULsun` (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 9,716). The two parents were crossed and the resulting seeds were planted in a controlled environment. The new variety is named `POULsiana`.
