Introduced in United States by Woodlawn Gardens, Inc. in before 1956 as 'Red Cheerful'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Moderate, rose fragrance.  30 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
