Origin:

Bred by L. Pernille Olesen (Denmark, 1993). Bred by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 1993).
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S in 1998 as 'Pearl Hit'.

Bloom:

Cream. Pale orange. None to mild fragrance. 25 petals. Average diameter 2.5". Small to medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, ruffled bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Bushy. Glossy, dark green foliage.

Height: 16" to 2' (40 to 60cm). Width: 30" (75cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of compact floribunda rose plant which originated from a controlled crossing between an unnamed seedling and `RUImired`....The unnamed seedling resulted from a crossing of `POULetta` and `Amber Queen`.....`POULpear` was selected by the inventors as a single plant from the progeny of the hybridization in April, 1993.
