Introduced in Australia by Edwin Smith, Clifton Nursery in 1885 as 'André Leroy d'Angers'.

Bloom:
Crimson, violet shading.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Height of up to 5' (up to 150 cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
