Class:
Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea.
Bloom:
Coral-pink. Moderate fragrance. 25 to 30 petals. Medium, very double bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Bushy, upright. Dark green, leathery, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Notes:
According to the American Rose Annual 1950, on May 24, 1949, A US Patent for Coral Reef was issued to Roy L. Byrum, Richmond, Indiana, and assigned to Joseph H. Hill Company. Modern Roses 10 says this rose is extinct.
