Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1919 as 'Covent Garden'.
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1920 as 'Covent Garden'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson, dark purple reverse.  None / no fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
