Bred by Samuel Davidson McGredy III (United Kingdom, before 1934).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Samuel McGredy and Son, Nurserymen (Northern Ireland) in 1935 as 'Fred Walker'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1936 as 'Fred Walker'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink, copper undertones, golden-yellow flecks, ages to rose-pink .  Moderate, tea fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered to cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
