Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1939 as 'Granat'.

Dark red.  Strong fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.  vigorous.  heat tolerant.
