Bred by Hendrikus Antonie Verschuren Jr. (1885-1947) (Netherlands, before 1925).
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1927 as 'H.C. Valeton'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, pink shading.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
