'Racy Lady' rose Description

ARS:
White, near white or white blend Hybrid Tea. Registration name: DICwaffleExhibition name: Racy Lady
Bloom:
White, cream reverse. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 5". Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage. Height of 37" to 39" (95 to 100 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
Notes:
The color of the blooms is creamy-white which deepens in the center to show a hint of peachy-lemon. Racy Lady is one of the new varieties added to the RINZ Rose Display Trial at the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens in 1999.
