Origin:
Bred by Gemen & Bourg (Luxembourg, 1899).
Introduced in Australia by C. H. Halstead in 1904 as 'Berthe Gemen'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
White, blush center.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, very double, borne mostly solitary, scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dense.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Either a seedling or sport of Marchioness of Dufferin. Refer references. Dedicated to the wife of a horticulturist in Luxemburg.
