Cerise, purple shading.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long sepals buds.

Notes:
Vicomte Pierre Auguste Hippolyte Charles Frédéric ("Fritz") de Cussy (January 21, 1793 Mannheim - 1867 Bayeux), of Saint-Mandé, was from 1844 member of the Cercle Général d'Horticulture, the organisation which became the Société Royale d'Horticulture. He was a honorary vice-president in 1853. Lived in 54, rue de la Madeleine, Paris.
