Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1922 as 'Francis Scott Key'.

Cerise or crimson, lighter reverse.  Mild fragrance.  Very large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, globular, high-centered, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Upright.

USDA zone 6b and warmer.
