Origin:
Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1905).
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1906 as 'M.H. Walsh'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Crimson - vermilion, scarlet shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  

Height: up to 47" (up to 120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.

Notes:
