Bred by Jan Böhm (Czechoslovakia (former), before 1934).

Bloom:
Dark red, white center.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: up to 32" (up to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Sangerhausen lists breeding year as 1928, which is possibly an error, as the Rosenlexikon (1936) does not mention this cultivar. The parent 'Böhmova popelka' was dated 1934.

Čsl. Červený kříž - means Czechoslovak Red cross

This rose has dark green foliage which turns to red after the first frost.
