Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Madame César Brunier'.

Bloom:
Pink.  Moderate, centifolia fragrance.  Large, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Vigorous.
