Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1913).
Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1914 as 'Chrissie MacKellar'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Vermilion - carmine-red, deep yellow stripes, ages to orange-pink .  Moderate, tea fragrance.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Well-branched.  Glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
