I am growing this rose in Northern Virginia and I am happy with it. I have it in a Southern exposure, plenty of heat, but also plenty of cold in the winter. This can handle both. The flowers don't wilt in the heat.

Drawbacks, the rose is susceptible to black spot as well as powdery mildew. Regular spraying with sulphur can control the disease, but if you ignore the disease the rose drops all its leaves in the middle of the summer.

I have been very succesful with Europeana. It does get mildew, but has been
manageable. This rose has the longest lasting flower of any in my garden.
