Registration name: Hélène de Montbriand
Origin:
Bred by André (aka Schwartz Fils) Schwartz (France, 1933).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Yellow, carmine-pink shading, ages to darker .  Saffron-yellow, ages to straw-yellow.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Different opinions on parentage and colour - see References. "Modern Roses" seems to have the description mixed up with "La Mascotte" of André Schwartz.
