This Rose aught to be called Winschoten instead of Winshoten, because the place it's named after is Winschoten in Groningen The Netherlands! In that place and its surrounding, rootstocks are grown, and from there exported and transported all over the world.
Because of this, the city of Winschoten wanted to show what is done with the rootstocks and founded the Rosarium.
