Bred by J. J. Murley (Australia, 1976).
Introduced in Australia by Brundrett's The Rose People in 1979 as 'Bendigold'.

Bloom:
Orange, orange-red or orange yellow.  Mild to strong fragrance.  32 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Cluster-flowered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Thornless (or almost), upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  
Height of 4' 1" to 4¼' (125 to 130 cm).  Width of 39" to 43" (100 to 110 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
