Introduced in France by Lancezeur et fils in circa 1843 as 'Lansezeur'.

Moss.  
Bloom:
Carmine-red to red, streaks, stripes, flecks, purple shading, pink stripes.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
