Introduced in Netherlands by De Ruiter's Nieuwe Rozen B.V. as 'Cherry Cupido'.

Bloom:
Dark red.  None / no fragrance.  35 to 45 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, rosette bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short.  

Height: 10" (25cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

According to the US Patent for RUIjef, this Miniature has large dark red flowers that appear in sprays of 5 to 10. The objective of the breeding program was to develop compact pot rose varieties with garden performance. The initial cross between two unnamed seedlings took place in 1991.
