Introduced in Australia by D. R. Hunter & Son in 1903 as 'Mrs. Edward Mawley'.

Carmine-pink, salmon-pink shading.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long buds.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
Edward Mawley (May 14, 1842 - September 15, 1916 Rosebank Berkhamsted ), meteorologist and horticulturalist, Secretary of the National Rose Society of the UK (1877-1914) and President in 1915.
