Discovered by Wilhelm Kordes III (1953 - 2016) (Germany, before 1996).
Introduced in Germany by W. Kordes' Söhne (Wholesale) in 1998.

Bloom:
Golden-yellow.  None / no fragrance.  35 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Medium, long, pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Compact, upright, well-branched.  Small, glossy foliage.  5 leaflets.  
Height of 2' (60 cm).  Width of 18" (45 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.

Inventor: Wilhelm Kordes, Sparrieshoop, Germany. Applicant: Bear Crek Gardens, Inc., Medford, Oregon. This rose is a sport of KORklevia (unpatented) November 1996. It differs from its parent in flower color, size of flowers (smaller), more petals,, and no glands on the peduncle.
