Origin:
Bred by Jean Bel (France, 1934). Bred by Pierre Vincent Bel (France, 1934). Bred by Emmanuel-Maxime aka Paul Buatois (France, 1934).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1936 as 'Paulette'.
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Light yellow, ages to cream .  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, very double, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Glossy, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
