Bred by Charles Mallerin (France, before 1943).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1943 as 'Caddy'.

Bloom:
Deep yellow, lighter edges.  Moderate fragrance.  Very large, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large buds.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
In the 1944 reference Mallerin is cited as the breeder and Meilland as the introducer.
