Origin:
Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, before 1958).
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1960 as 'Cricri'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink to pink.  Small, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, well-branched.  Leathery foliage.  

Height: 14" (35cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Meilland described the colour as Carmine-pink passing to Neyron pink, none of the coral and salmon shaded reported overseas.
