Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1868).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1876 as 'Céline Noirey'.

Bloom:
Salmon-pink, light pink center, purple reverse.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Light green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
