Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1945 as 'Madame de Pompadour'.

Bloom:

Red, copper shading, yellow reverse. Mild fragrance. Medium, double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Bushy. Glossy, dark green foliage.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.
