Origin:
Discovered by Mathias Leenders (1883 - 1958) (Netherlands, 1927).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Hugo Pillar'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Blush, buff center.  Flesh white, center pale ecru.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Medium, light green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
