Bred by Jan Böhm (Czechoslovakia (former), before 1930).
Introduced in Czech Republic by Jan Böhm in 1931 as 'Briand-Paneurope'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, lighter shading, golden-yellow undertones.  Mild fragrance.  Very large, very double, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 16" to 2' (40 to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
The Paneuropa Union was propagated by Richard Count Coudenhove-Kalergi (November 16, 1894 Tokio - July 27, 1972 Schruns, Austria) in 1922 and established 1923. The French foreign minister Aristide Briand became the honorary President in 1927 and published in 1930 a paper on the formation of a European Union.
