Bred by San Remo Exp. Sta. (Italy, 1936).
Introduced in France by Ets. Horticole Léon Pin in 1959 as 'Clotaria'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.
Bloom:
Red, cream shading, fuchsia / magenta shading.  Strong fragrance.  26 to 28 petals.  Medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.
Height of up to 43" (up to 110 cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Notes:
'Clotaria' in the Carla Fineschi Garden seems to be mislabeled (fuller, pink instead of red, light instead of dark green foliage - see description of current rose in "Theatrum Rosarum"). The rose in Sangerhausen has been planted after 2000 only.
