Origin:
Bred by Elisha J. Hicks (United Kingdom, 1920). Introduced in Australia by H. Kemp in 1921 as 'Mrs. Curnock Sawday'.
Bloom:
Pink. Satin pink. Pale blush pink, edges salmon pink. Broad and stout petals. Moderate fragrance. Large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Large, long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright. Large, bronze-green, dense foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for exhibition or garden. Vigorous. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
