Registration name: Lady Cromwell (hybrid tea, Verschuren, 1956)
Origin:
Bred by Theodor F. Verschuren (1931- (Netherlands, 1956).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Gandy's Roses Ltd. in 1956 as 'Lady Cromwell'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson, golden-yellow undertones.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
Oliver Cromwell, English general and statesman, born at Huntingdon 25 April 1599. He became ill with malaria and died in London 3 September 1658. He was buried at Westminster Abbey, but his remains were disinterred and exposed at Tyburn gallows.
