Introduced in France by Calvert
in before 1829 as 'Hybride de Brown'.
Hybrid China, Hybrid Tea.
Blush, red center. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 3.5". Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Thornless (or almost), well-branched. Light green foliage.
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
