Origin:
Bred by Walter Easlea, Jr. (United Kingdom, before 1925).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Aphrodite'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Coral-pink, golden-yellow undertones, apricot shading, ages to light pink .  Strong fragrance.  34 petals.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), in small clusters, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Aphrodite (to the Greeks) or Venus ( to the Romans), goddess of Love.
