Bred by J. E. King (Unknown, 1924).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1926 as 'Dorothy King'.

Class:

Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Scarlet - crimson, brown shading, golden-yellow stamens. Average diameter 2.75". Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Short, bushy, upright.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
