Bred by Louis Lens (1924-2001) (Belgium, before 1984).

White, light pink edges.  Small, single (4-8 petals), cluster-flowered, in large clusters bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:
Short, spreading.  Small foliage.  

Height: 4" to 6" (10 to 15cm).  Width: 8' (245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Can be used for garden or ground cover.

Trade Name: Green Snake.
Notes:
Green Snake was removed from the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens (ARBG) Display Trial because it was not performing.
Heirloom Old Garden Roses says Green Snake, from Louis Lens of Belgium, is a unique rose... the single blooms are blush pink to dusky-pink...
