Origin:
Bred by Anne G. Cocker (1920-2014) (Scotland, 1992).
Introduced in Scotland by James Cocker & Sons in 1991 as 'Ohshima Rose'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange or orange-red.  Moderate fragrance.  26 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Medium, matte, medium green foliage.  

Height: 3' (90cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.

Notes:
Tsutomu Ohshima is the founder and Shihan (Chief Instructor) of Shotokan Karate of America (SKA), as well as many other international Shotokan organizations, including those in Canada, France, Israel, Belgium, Curacao, Gabon, Indonesia, Morocco, Spain, and Switzerland. He was born on August 6, 1930.
