Medium pink Hybrid Perpetual.
Origin:
Bred by François Lacharme (France, 1863).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Madame Charles Verdier'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Rose-pink.  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:
It is dedicated to the wife of Mons Charles Verdier, horticulturalist of Ivry-sur-Seine... Charles-Félix Verdier, who died, at his home at Ivry-sur-Seine, August 18 [1893], at the age of 64.
