Bred by Gebr. Leenders / Leenders Bros. (Netherlands, before 1926).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1928 as 'Kardinal Schulte'.

Class:

Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Crimson - scarlet, red shading. Moderate fragrance. Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season. Large, pointed buds.

Habit:

Bushy, dense, upright, well-branched. Glossy, dark green foliage.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
